A MESSAGE FROM RABBI COHEN
| Dear Friends,
The year is off to a running start. Both the Linda and Rudy Slucker Religious School and the Iris Family Center for Childhood Education had smooth starts. Our programming year is underway and the High Holy Days are just around the corner. There is so much going on and we want to make it easier than ever for you to keep up with it. Here are the three easiest ways:
TSTI.org: On the home page of our website you will find a running list of all the posts that have gone to the TSTI blog. These will include programming announcements, updates and changes and mazel tov announcements, as well as articles Rabbi Miller and I find interesting and encourage you to read.
Twitter: If you use Twitter, our Twitter feed will ping you with links whenever something new goes up. (You can follow us here: https://twitter.com/#!/TSTINJ)
Facebook: If you go to our Facebook pages (there’s a general Facebook page and one for each of our schools) you will be able to comment, discuss and add to the conversation. (We’re really hoping our Facebook page becomes a dialogue of communication that builds community. I encourage you to “LIKE” each of the pages as that will ensure you’ll get information as it is posted.) (You can find our page here: http://www.facebook.com/TSTINJ)
A few recent posts I want to bring to your attention:
Our school year began with amazing energy filling the building. Check out a brief video here: Welcome to the First Day of School at the Linda and Rudy Slucker Religious School
Three of our TSTI young adults had wonderful experiences in Israel this summer and were kind enough to share some of them with their community.

And on a far more serious note, sign the petition opposing a unilateral declaration of Palestinian Statehood without any peace agreement with Israel. SIGN NOW TO OPPOSE PALESTINIAN STATEHOOD!
We will also be using our website and Facebook pages to keep in touch with our college students.
Of course the Bulletin is still published monthly but the website, Twitter and Facebook offer even more opportunities for us to create community, get involved in TSTI and stay informed.
Wishing you all a Shabbat Shalom.
