Parasha B’harLeviticus 25:1-26:2 Parasha Behar establishes the laws of the sabbatical year.  Every 7th year, all work on the land ceases and people and animals are free to take the produce.  After 7 sabbatical years (in the 50th year), the jubilee year occurs.  All work ceases, all indentured servants are set free and all land reverts to original owners.  Parasha Behar also includes the laws regarding the sale of land and the prohibitions against fraud and usury.
