Happy Thanksgivukkah! We are so very excited to be celebrating this once in a lifetime event!
On Sunday, November 17th we will celebrate! In addition to special treats, we will have an active visit from Camp Harlam, including a rousing song session with Dan, their head song leader! They are going to bring some camp-style Chanukah spirit to school. Parents, please join us at 11:00 am to meet Assistant Director Alex Gelman, who will be joined by two of our campers and their parents to talk about their amazing experiences at camp! Interested students can join us at 11:00 and then stay for pizza at 11:30. RSVP is a MUST! Please RSVP to firstname.lastname@example.org.
The close proximity of Thanksgiving and Chanukah this year is a great opportunity to remind our students about thankfulness and giving to others. Please continue to encourage your child(ren) to bring food for our food challenge-the food pantry is struggling to feed so many in need. We give thanks for your support, and for instilling thoughtfulness in your children- if is so heartwarming to see so many students enter our building carrying food for others!
