Tot Shabbat participants display a quilt they created after reading the “Keeping Quilt”.  The finished quilt will be donated to a local family in need.  Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel hosts a Tot Shabbat the first Saturday of the month at 9:00 am, all are welcome.  Please contact for more information.

Temple Sharey Tefilo-Israel Sixth Graders “buddied” with our Kindergarten students to produce a “creation quilt”.  This is the second event in a Four-Part series where our Sixth Graders are honing their leadership skills by guiding the younger students in various hands-on learning experiences. Pictured here are two students with their completed quilt block.

Rabbi Cohen And Group Arrive In Cuba!



Rabbi Cohen and congregants arrived in Cuba and immediately spent time and made donations to the Sephardic Jewish community center. They are doing amazing work and keeping the Jewish community together. Their senior center was especially impressive. They care for elder members of the Jewish community and others in need.

In Miami getting ready to board the flight to Cuba. Rabbi Cohen (not pictured here) along with Debi and Ross Miller, Vicki Moosen, Jill Bloom, Carla and Mitch Boden, Adam Leight, Cheryl Schneider, Alison Klein, Stephen Okinow, Brett Harwood, Elaine Cohen and Barbara Glickman are headed to Havana for the week. Each of them is bringing 15+ pounds of medical supplies to give to the Jewish community of Cuba.



Monday, October 1

6:00pm – 7:00 pm

Enjoy a light dessert as we decorate our Sukkah as a Temple community.

                 Make decorations, hang signs, place the gourds and pumpkins  to create a beautiful Sukkah for everyone to enjoy.

End the evening by shaking the lulav, smelling the etrog and learning the blessings of Sukkot.

Join Us Tonight for the Annual Meeting and Friday to Celebrate Cantor Aronson

The TSTI Annual Meeting begins at 7PM tonight. Please attend to recap the programming year that is ending,  hear about exciting changes that are coming next year and to begin celebrating Cantor Aronson as he moves toward retirement.

Friday evening we will celebrate Cantor during services. There will be wonderful music and a few surprises. The service starts at 7:30PM
